Do you remember James, our British friend? Write him a short letter letting him know you are fine and telling him about being back at school again.

PHONETICS

As it was mentioned in class, here you are! A new task. Click here and you will find  the symbols for the sounds of English. Clicking on a symbol will take you to another page where you can watch a video about that particular sound. 



1. Click on the new link.
2. Watch the first video- it's an introduction to the content you will see and learn.
3. Then, take your time to listen to the 44 videos - one per sound. 
4. You have to write on your notebook the symbol, and the corresponding spelling of 'Jolly Phonics'


Please, watch at least six videos for our next lesson on Thursday.

IN THE CITY

Have you ever been to England? And to the Republic of Ireland? If not, here you will find some pictures to get an idea  of the countries. 

1. Have a look at the pictures.

2. Write down some questions that come to your mind when looking at them.

3. We will use those questions to play a game in our English lesson.

And don't forget to look up the meaning of the related phrase: ' Let's go to town! '
